1:00 general meeting, NDSCS, 1305 19th Ave North, Fargo
program: Old barns as well as new buildings in the country and in town offer the perfect display area for barn quilts. Mary Jo Schmit from Crooked Lane Farm will be here to share the history of barn quilts and the development of a Red River Valley Barn Quilt Trail. She teaches classes on making barn quilt squares. Come and hear about another way to make and display a quilt.
9:00 AM   education Laurie Rott will be here on October 20 for morning education. She will teach us needle turn applique. Those attending should bring a basic hand sewing kit. Laurie will provide the pattern and fabrics.
