A new, informal group of QGND crazy quilters is meeting at 7 pm the first Tuesday of each month at Rae-Bon Sewing Center, 2590 Main Avenue, Fargo. Crazy Quilters of all skill levels are welcome. There are no dues. There are no minutes. Participants bring projects, blocks, or items they’re working on and share their love of the medium with each other over coffee.  On occasion, short lessons/demonstrations are offered, usually at the request of a participant. If you plan to come, please use the rear entrance to Rae-Bon, or send your email address to vdambach@qwestoffice.net so you can be added to the monthly reminder email list.

The quilt challenge for next year will involve Tangrams. To get involved, print and use the form found here.

The goal of this project is to give a colorful, handmade pillowcase to every woman and child at the YWCA Shelter in Fargo. The first batch will be available to the 70 current residents, with additional cases on hand to give to new residents.

This is an on-going project, with new cases needed every month. You are encouraged to make pillowcases, donate fabric and/or contribute financially.
